I wanted to try out something slightly different and was ready for some curls a couple of months ago. I didn't want anything too kinky, but I also wanted something that would be easy for me to blend with my own hair. While in the BSS, I came across the Fretress Equal Brazilian Jerry bundle hair. All you need is one pack for a complete style. I decided to make a U-Part wig with this hair and ended up having an entire bundle left over. I also decided to go with a color blend I used to wear all the time, since I had been wearing all black for a while now. Watch the video below for my review on the hair. Don't forget to check out the pics below the video. In the video I hadn't quite got the right method down for blending my real hair, but figured out later on which you can see in the photos :) What's your favorite curly girl hair to use?
Is that old wig out of date and out of style? Simply just craving a new look? Not so fast! Don't toss that old wig in the trash or in the back of the closet. REMIX IT! This is one of my favorite things to do with wigs and extensions. I love turning old things into new things.
Hey dolls! I recently have been introduced to a new product that grows your hair. What makes this product so unique is that according to the labels, it is made from all natural ingredients AND those ingredients have been incorporated into a tea and lemonade for you to drink. I was very excited about that because I've never been great about swallowing a pill for a vitamin. Now there certainly is a product available in the traditional supplement form, but you don't have to use it to see results. So far, I have been very happy with the use of the products. In the past, a lot of different things upset my stomach and I haven't had that problem with these products since I've started taking them. Several people have said that get faster results when using the Prettea & Vitagrow together, but you can certainly still get results by just using the tea or just using the lemonade. I know the lemonade was on backorder the last time I checked, but customer service told me it will be back available soon. It's all hair types, so not just for one ethnicity. Women & men have seen results from this. Don't just take my word for it though, check it out for yourself. You can purchase the products at LoveYourHairXo.com by clicking on the shop tab there. Let me help you all out because I got a little confused the first time I checked out lol. Purchasing Instructions: Each product has 2 different prices. The lower price is the auto ship price, so if you do not want auto ship, do not click on the lower priced button. Once you click "add to cart" it updates in a panel to your left. (Just a tip because you may think it didn't do anything because the page doesn't reload when you add to cart). When you are checking out, is will have PayPal as the only payment method listed. Don't worry about that. Just keep checking all the way out. When you get to the last page that says "finish period" and it asks you to confirm your information is correct, click ok and it will load a page that lets you choose debit/credit if you don't want to use your PayPal account. That's it! Just a friendly bit advice so that you can have a easy checkout experience. Let me know what you guys think of the products. I am eager to hear how it works out for other people. This is definitely something you'll want to let your friends & family know about. LOVEYOURHAIRXO.COM
Okay...I recently purchased one of the best wigs ever! I absolutely love Freetress Equal's lace wig called Kenzie. I wanted a style that was straight and long; a very natural pressed look. I ordered this wig and it met my expectation by far and the parting space is AMAZING! It is very natural. I did tweeze a bit of hair out at the very front because it kind of crossed over, but after that it was like the best wig ever. Check out the video below for my initial review of the wig. The photo on this blog is an updated look of the wig after the minor tweeze and adding the press powder for color into the parting space. Have you tried this wig or one similar? What did you think? What's your favorite wig? Sound off below! :-)
I'm back! It has been awhile since I last posted a hair blog on here. It took me some time because I needed to upgrade my camera and get some new units to review for you all. Well...FINALLY I got a new camera and I also have gotten several new hair units that I reviewed for you all. The first video release this year is on the Freetress Equal lace wig called Danity. In this video I had not yet manipulated the parting space or anything. I have since did some minor tweezing, added powder and re-positioned the wig in different places to see which parting position looked best one me. I prefer wearing the part in the middle as a personal preference for myself based on my look. I have yet to experience any tangling or shedding with this until. You can check out my video review below. The photo above is how the wig looks after I adjusted it to my liking. A lot of people have been wanting to know how to get a ponytail similar to the one Nicki Minaj had with the long thick black hair. I made a video tutorial on how you can get a similar look. In this vlog, I do both a long and short ponytail using the kanekalon hair. There are several different ways that you can do this style. Even if you wanted to roll the ends and dip in hot water for a natural curl or if you simply wanted to buy pre-styled hair, the installation will be the same. I didn't mention this in the video, but depending on how tight the elastic is on your hair tie, you may want to wrap twice around your bun. I did not simply because I had a small, tight hair tie. This is a great protective style that you can do in 5 minutes or less.
I wanted something simple, classic, and quick; so I created a nice little U-Part wig that I could wear at anytime or anywhere. I used the 8" SHE hair to create this look; along with a couple of wig clips, a hot glue gun, and a needle/thread.
What's your go to style? Let me know what you think and what you love.
